Patrick J. Caplis is the President of J PAT L.L.C. and has numerous memberships to organizations and charities including, but not limited to, the VFW, DAV, and DVA.

Biography for Patrick J. Caplis

Patrick J. Caplis was born and raised in Chicago, IL in the 1970's. His mother is Susan Caplis, a speech pathologist and board certified educator. His father is Patrick A. Caplis, Chief of Staff for the Commissioner of Cook County, IL, Joan Murphy. Patrick is a resident in Macomb County, MI with his wife Julia (Richardson) Caplis of Shelby Twp., MI and daughter Savannah Caplis. Patrick is a graduate of St. Laurence High School in Chicago and continued his education at Illinois University, where he majored in Political Science with a minor in Pre-Law. He enlisted in the United States Marine Corps on December 17, 2001. Patrick was retired on March 30, 2008 due to combat injuries suffered in Iraq. He is a Service-Disabled Combat Veteran with service in Operation Iraqi Freedom(OIF). CPL. Patrick Caplis was a member of Mobile Strike Team 3(MST3) with Weapons Company, 2nd Battalion, 24th Marines, 4th Marine Division. He is a distinguished combat veteran with over 20 awards, citations, recommendations, and service metals including the nomination to be awarded THE BRONZE STAR with device V for valor in combat.
